My Personality: Chameleon
I’ve come to accept that my personality basically shapeshifts depending on who I’m with. Technically, I’m an INFJ — and honestly, that’s the version of me that feels the most real. I’m the quiet observer, the “let me emotionally analyze this for a second” type, the person who needs alone time like I need air. Deep conversations? Love them. Small talk? I’d rather not. So yeah, INFJ checks out.
But here’s the funny part: put me around certain people and suddenly I’m an ENFP. Like… who is she? I’ll catch myself talking a lot more, laughing louder, getting hyped over the most random ideas, and acting like someone who actually gets energy from people — which is wild because normally I’m the one who needs to go lie down after too much socializing. But it never feels forced. Some people just naturally pull out this lighter, more spontaneous version of me that usually stays tucked away.
And honestly, being a Type 7 on the Enneagram definitely plays into that vibe. The adventurous, “let’s try something new,” slightly chaotic energy sneaks up on me in all the best ways, especially when I’m around people who make me feel comfortable enough to let it out.
So yes, I’m an INFJ… but sometimes I’m also an ENFP… and on top of that, I’m a Type 7. Basically, I’m a walking personality plot twist. But honestly? I kind of love that about myself. It keeps life interesting, and it keeps me interesting — even to me.
